Read Our Guide NowFounded in August 1997 by James Jacobs and Leslie Scott, PolyCraft Tech initially focused on aerospace and defense electronics and support equipment. Our journey began when a major OEM approached us with a technologically challenging problem. Embracing the challenge, we designed a fully compliant solution that not only satisfied their needs but also led to a low-rate production contract. This pivotal project marked the launch of our organization, setting the stage for our future growth.
Over the years, we expanded our services to meet the needs of multiple aerospace and defense customers, developing a reputation for excellence in creating complex electronic and support equipment. Our commitment to innovation and quality has been the cornerstone of our success.
In May 2023, an opportunity arose that would significantly shape our company's future. The announcement of the closure of a local "Urethane Casting and Plastic Fabrication" facility threatened to leave many skilled workers unemployed and several customers without a crucial supply source. Recognizing the impact of this closure, we decided to step in. By September 2023, we had acquired the company and its assets, rehiring the majority of its employees and seamlessly continuing operations.
Today, PolyCraft Tech stands out in the industry for producing some of the most complex and geometrically challenging plastic parts in the world. Our product range includes intricate components for medical devices, automotive parts like grills and fenders, and specialized medical training tools such as replica tumors, brains, throats, and skull caps.
With a dedicated team of 70 employees, we have carved a unique niche in the market. We offer a middle-ground solution between expensive single-piece 3D printing and the high costs and time investment required for metal mold design and manufacturing. Our urethane casting and plastic fabrication services provide moderately priced, high-quality parts ideal for early design stages when designs are still being finalized. We specialize in producing small quantities of complex parts at a fraction of the cost and time associated with traditional injection molding.
Whether you are still planning your design or have a finalized blueprint, PolyCraft Tech is equipped to be your premier supplier, ensuring that your projects move forward efficiently and cost-effectively. We are committed to continuing our legacy of innovation, quality, and service, meeting the evolving needs of our clients and leading the way in the urethane casting and plastic fabrication industry.
